I have been teaching and lecturing in Law for over 20 years in grade 1 colleges and at Universities , with an enviable success rate across all subjects.

I am currently taking time out of full time employment , in order to carry out further study - my Ed D which is based around the study of adult learning with specific interest in learners who are returning to education.

I enjoy working with students and believe that I can share this passion for learning ,even when things get tough. I have been trained specifically in post 16 education and have worked with both adults as well as sixth form students. I have also trained and mentored trainee teachers and tutors - who have gone on to teach a variety of subjects from Art to Psychology and Mathematics !

I have worked as a senior adviser for UCAS applications - both as a tutor , working with those wanting to go University as well as an admissions tutor- so I know what to look for in an application .

I have also tutored for LNAT , UKCAT amongst other qualifications as well as preparing students for interview -Oxbridge .

Availability: Evenings and weekends primarily

Experience:
My main subject discipline is Law , which I have taught at GCSE , A , degree, postgraduate and professional levels including ILEX, paralegal , Solicitors professional exams and STEP.

My areas of specific interest are Crime, Contract , Equity and Trusts , Wills and Probate , Tort, Public law and Property law.

I have also taught A level Government and Politics ,as well as citizenship programmes.

I have a special interest in supporting learning through elearning and have carried out face to face SKYPE tutorials with learners as well as visiting their homes . Supporting learning with effective, individual targeted resources.

As a former examiner at both A and degree level , I believe that I am able to identify key needs and target skills issues which will support effective success at coursework and of course exam assessments.
