Lorraine (Tutor)

Hello.....I am a vocational teacher mainly teaching Health and Social Care. Teaching is something I am very passionate about and love the vocational elements of the courses I teach. I love working with individuals finding ways to develop evidence and create a new learning experience.

I have experience working with students in Further Education and Secondary School and teach GCSE, BTEC and A Level Health and Social Care.

I also teach Public Services- Level 2

My teaching style is student lead and includes accessing care settings, video diaries, photos and discussions. I teach in a creative and initiative style to meet the needs of the individual and assist students to gather evidence based on the student’s strengths. I take into consideration the vocational elements of the course and work creatively in developing knowledge and evidence.

Availability: evenings, weekends and school holidays

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have worked in the care industry and still do as a volunteer. I have a range of vocatioanl and teaching experience.

Qualifications: Degree in Life Long Learning
Certificate in Education
NVQ in Health and Social Care - Level 3
NVQ in Promoting Independence – Level 3
NVQ in Caring for Children and Young People – Level 3
