I have recently started a PhD in Physics at the University of Southampton. I have a 1st class MSci Physics degree from King's College, London. I love my subject and I enjoy tutoring as it allows me to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm on to others and most importantly, help them to succeed!

My approach to tutoring is largely exam focussed. I will sit down with the student and talk through any problems that they have come across and explainhow it should be done. I then sit with them and work through a number of examples, starting relatively easy and then stretching them further. I find that this enables the student to push the boundaries of the subject without realising. To tuition sessions I bring a number of past papers to work through with the students. This helps the students to focus on what they need to know for the exam and provides valuable exam skills. I am also happy to provide additional work for the pupil to work on between sessions, which I will mark and give feedback for each week.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends

Experience: I have been tutoring for the last 4 years and in that time I have tutored students from KS3 up to degree level. I am proud to say that the tuition that I gave them helped to consistently exceed their expectations and excel in their studies.
