I am an enthusiastic 18 year old student currently embarking upon a gap year, after which I intend to study medicine at University. I am passionate about the sciences, I have a good grounding in these subjects having just completed my A-levels achieving 4 A `s and I do much wider reading which contributes to my knowledge.
In my spare time I volunteer regularly for a care home, a Hospital and St John Ambulance and I enjoy sports such as Cycling, Rock Climbing and Swimming.
I am a kind, patient and understanding person, this helps me to gauge the needs of a tutee and to tailor my teaching around this. I very much enjoy teaching, and I am keen to help others in this way.

Experience: Having just left school I don`t have muchprofessional tutoring experience, however during my final two years of school I have assisted in a KS3 class, which I found both enjoyable and rewarding. The class teacher said I was ‘the best helper he had had in over 50 years of teaching’. I have often helped my peers throughout my school life in a recent reference my chemistry teacher commented that ‘I have an excellent ability and I will also act as a tutor and coach to others who are less confident or not as able`.
Having just left school I am very aware of the challenges that students face, my approach is to follow exam board specifications and guidelines, whilst tailoring my teaching to the tutee, as every person is different and will have different ways of learning. I have a relaxed teaching style and I would regularly assess a tutees progress and adapt my teaching accordingly. I am easily contactable via email, phone or text I respond quickly and can deal with any questions a tutee may have between sessions in this way.
Qualifications: 5 A levels: A stars`s in Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Geography, B in Extended Project (biology). 11 GCSE`s, 7 A stars`s and 4 A`s.
