My name is Ben, I`m British-American and in my twenties. I am currently studying a Ph.D in Education policy at the university of Michigan. I live in London over the summer.
I enjoy tutoring/teaching and have both paid and voluntary experience teaching a variety of subjects over the last few years. I have worked with students aged 11-57 and with a wide range of aptitudes and attitudes.
My interests include reading, hiking, guitar and snowboarding.
Availability: School holidays, from 2 May to September during the summer.

Experience: One year full-time tutoring/teaching maths, English and history to students at a secondary school in London (Pimlico Academy).
Two years tutoring statistics, maths and English independently.
Three years part-time tutoring maths in a volunteering capacity at other schools in London (Maria Fidelis and Mossbourne Academy).
Two years part-time work as a private tutor, predominantly in maths and English.
Three years part-time experience teaching English as an additional language, mainly to students with Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Japanese and Italian as their mother tongues.
Qualifications: MSc in Social Policy Research Methods (Merit), London School of Economics
BA History (First Class Honours), School of Oriental and African Studies
CELTA qualification in teaching English as an additional language (awarded by University College London)
A Levels in economics, history and maths (all grade A)
