Hello :-) Looking for a tutor is an important step in furthering your understanding of a subject and getting in some extra learning hours outside of school/college/uni. I myself found it hard to focus in class as a kid, and as a result my grades slipped a bit when I was around 15. So my parents got me a tutor and its the best thing they ever did for me! Now I'm studying for a PhD and I would love to give back some of my knowledge to help other people like I was helped out as a youngster. I'm willing to teach anyone studying up to undergraduate level in the sciences and any children under 15 for any other subject.
Availability: Mon-Thurs: Anytime after 6pm till 9pm
Sundays: Anytime until 9pm
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I often help with the undergrad demonstrating in practicals and help out with marking coursework. I love teaching, and I find it very rewarding. I am also very patient, so we can go at whatever pace is comfortable for you
Qualifications: I am currently studying for a PhD in Immunology (specialising in meningitis) at the University of Surrey. My Masters was in Medical Microbiology and my BSc was in Biomedical Sciences. At A level I studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics (All B's) and Theatre Studies up to AS level only (Random, I know!). I received A* in Religeous studies at GCSE, A's in Maths, Double Science, English Language and English Literature.
