I graduated from Cambridge University in 2009 with a first class degree in Japanese and Social and Political Sciences. I took my CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teaching for Adults) qualification soon after and now have a great deal of experience teaching English as a foreign language in several schools in central London. I also have experience in preparing students for the IELTS exam.
I do not have a fixed tuition style but prefer to adapt my lessons to suit the needs of the student. Teaching professionally has shown me quite how personal the learning process is, and that the more tailored the lesson is to the individual, the greater the chance of success.
I also try to encourage and help the student to pursue any aspect of the subject they are particularly interested in. I feel that nothing inspires learners and impresses examiners more than a genuine love for the subject.
