English (primary, ks3, gcse, a-level)
History (gcse)
Philosophy (gcse, a-level)
I am a recent graduate from Oxford University where I read Philosophy and Modern Languages. I am keen to assist and promote the humanities to a younger age group whilst still broadening my own academic horizons through the tutoring process. I am passionate about the arts and the subjects I am able to offer and hope that this eagerness can translate into a creative and productive learning environment.
Availability: I am available to tutor weekdays, evenings and some weekends.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I spent 8 months of my gap year before university working as a Learning Support Assistant at the London Oratory School. I taught and assisted all secondary age groups in both class room environments as well as on a one-to-one basis, all of whom suffered from a range of disabilities from Asperges Syndrome to depression. This experience was a huge learning curve and greatly rewarding. I gained invaluable teaching skills and honed in my ability to be patient and coherent to all levels of understanding. Aside from this, I have also tutored piano to family friends.
Qualifications: I have acheived 9 A to A GCSE`s as well as 3 A-levels in English Literature, Philosophy and History.
I`ve also attained a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Modern Greek from Oxford University.
