gcse level: £25 per hourI am a very calm, patient and knowledgeable Maths teacher with 23 years of Mathematics teaching experience, of which 11 years included the teaching ICT. My strength is my ability to relate new Mathematical concepts to the students’ prior knowledge and experience, and to use a variety of logical and creative strategies to help students to develop their own understanding of Mathematics in order to eventually become independent learners. I love Maths and helping students, especially those who are underachieving. So despite being offered positions in many ‘good’ schools, I chose to take up more challenging positions with under achieving students so I could share my passion for maths with a generation of students who really needed help.
