I am friendly and approachable and enjoy encouraging students to become more enthusiastic about English in order develop the skills they feel they need. I have high expectations for student progress and offer a personalised approach in order to help students to maximise their potential. I am experienced in working with students with a wide range of abilities and have a patient and supportive style. I am happy to discuss the needs and expectations of individuals/families in order to ensure the most effective approach. I will usually travel up to ten miles but may consider other arrangements.

Experience: I have 4 years experience of teaching English from Key Stage 3 to 'A' level. Prior to this I worked in 'child-centred' roles, improving educational opportunities for children and young people. I am very experienced at getting the best out of students and enabling them to feel challenged and successful.
