During my experiences of tutoring, I have tried to encourage students to work to the best of their ability. I completed my MSC in Occupational Psychology less than two years ago, having completed a BA in Psychology, and feel I have developed many skills and extensive knowledge in this field and am able to teach the subject. I am also competent in using SPSS and willing to help students with statistics. When I was tutoring students, I covered topics such as Maths, English and Science. Although I do not hold a teaching qualification, I have had much experience in tutoring and working with children. I am a confident individual who is sensitive to students needs and can work to help increase confidence in students to help them to learn better and believe in their abilities.

Experience: I was previously a private tutor for three years teaching 4 – 11 year olds Maths, English and Science. I was employed by an agency, for which a reference can be obtained. Prior to this I had done some work experience in schools and had worked and facilitated at a play scheme during summer vacations. Most recently, I have tutored Psychology undergraduate students for exam preparation and coursework. I am also a trainer by profession and so, understand different learning styles and approaches to learning.
