For five years I have been teaching students of all ages, abilities and interests. I have a sound engineering degree and experience teaching KS3, GCSE and A-Level music and music technology in schools. I am able to provide a full CRB check (Sept 2010) undertaken to allow work in schools.
Iâm happy to teach all standard guitar styles, from beginner to advanced levels, and I specialise in acoustic American folk. For the very beginner students who have not yet bought their own guitar, or those using public transport, I am happy to share my instruments.
In general, I like to provide relaxed lessons that focus on the interests of the student. There are plenty of opportunities to learn the songs youâve always wanted to play, and hopefully youâll let me reveal how they were created too.
