I am a native Mandarin speaker and a qualified tutor based in London. As a responsible and patient tutor, I am confident in providing fantastic Mandarin learning experience to my students and dedicated to offer tuition which is the most suitable to the levels of my students.

APPROACH TO TUTORING

Creative and interesting lectures.

In order to provide the most effective language learning experience and since a Mandarin environment is the tutor`s responsibility, I would include clearly articulated Mandarin during tuition and try to avoid using English.

Listening and Speaking: I would mainly design practical activities and communication targeted lessons therefore, my students would never be bored in my tuition as a positive and confident learning experience is the crucial part in a language class. Most importantly, the learning would be very effective.
Reading and Writing: Both simplified and traditional orthography can be provided, depending on the students` preference. Since learning the characters is essential to the success of learning Chinese language, I would require my students to learn either traditional or simplified characters along with the help of Pin-yin (a romanisation pronunciation system).
