I have loved the study of English from a young age, and my successful student career, alongside my part-time work with children, has led me to pursue a teaching career.

My love of English sparked my desire to learn, and I obtained consistently high grades in the subject, three A's at A-level, and a BA in English as a result of my hard work and enthusiasm. I believe that I carry this enthusiasm into all areas of my teaching, and will do my best to provide my students with fun, friendly lessons that are tailored to suit their individual learning style and needs.

Through my work as a tutor I have been privileged to meet students of all levels and abilities. I have been fortunate to work part-time, for over five years, with children and teenagers who have disabilities. This was an experience that taught me a great deal. Furthermore, volunteer work in a primary school has greatly improved my confidence in teaching children, and my university career has equipped me to teach students of a higher level. For these reasons I am confident with my ability to tutor students of all ages, levels, and abilities.

In addition to the lesson hour, I am always willing to look over any work that my students wish to email or hand to me, and to provide feedback at no additional cost. I truly love teaching, and it is not solely my obligation, but my desire, to ensure that all of my students reach their full potential.

I believe that tuition should be an encouraging, fun, and inspiring experience. I try my upmost to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which my students feel welcome and comfortable enough to ask me any and all questions they have.
