Amanda (Tutor)

Since becoming self-employed Amanda has worked for numerous small businesses offering secretarial support and advice. For over 4 years she has provided One-to-One Computer Tuition (at your pace – on your computer) whereby many local people have benefitted from patient, relaxed, friendly, confidence-building, straightforward, respectful tuition with no jargon! Her aim is to assist people in using, understanding and enjoying their computers with confidence.

Availability: I offer my computer tuition full-time Monday to Friday. Times to be agreed with Client.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: For over 20 years, prior to becoming self-employed, Amanda worked for organisations such as Amec, AT&T, Avaya, Glaxo, ICL, Lucent Technologies, National Mutual Life Assurance Society, The Cowdray Estate, Thorn EMI and SME’s in Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Surrey & West Sussex. Her roles included: Conference Organiser, PA at MD and Director level, Reception/Telephony Supervisor. She also played a key role in the set-up of the European branch of an American software company, based in Berkshire.

Qualifications: My computer tuition is based upon my knowledge and experience gained throughout my career. Patience and respect is absolutely essential in order to assist each individual Client.
