I am currently involved in a Mentorship scheme at All Hallows School, Salford, but my background is in the teaching of Maths.

Based in Oldham, I am happy to travel to most addresses within Manchester or Oldham.

I have a very goal orientated approach to teaching and always like to agree the timescale and intended results at the beginning of each session. This allows us to spend the last few moments of the session assessing progress against them & evaluating progress.

I always prefer the tutee to discover the answer through exploration, rather than learning techniques by rote (which can reduce flexibility and hinder further application of the procedure).

I offer the first hour lesson for free so that you can find out if you like me.

Availability: Evenings (5pm to 10pm) and weekends (anytime).

Experience: I did a degree in Maths Teaching at Leeds Metropolitan University, and have tutored maths to both GCSE level and A level previously.
