I have Bachelor's in English Philology with teacher skills obtained in Poland at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Teacher Training College in Chelm. Polish is my mother tongue. I am patient and friendly in my teaching approach.

I find it very inspiring that as a teacher I can help young people and adults develop and acquire knowledge in a supportive
and positive way. My three-year Teacher Training College created my enthusiasm and prepared me well to take responsibility for my own class.

During my time as a Teacher I have learnt to value each student as an individual, as well as part of community.
I aim to give students as many learning opportunities and experiences as possible in order to engage, motivate and prepare for future experiences. I choose an appropriate, balanced and creative curriculum, essential in developing students's skills, knowledge and understanding. I use well selected course books for both Polish and English classes depending on language knowledge ans experience.

I use visualisation techniques e.g. word cards, number cards, labels, pictures and charts. I make sure all four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) are being used in a lesson.

Experience: After my degree I have undertaken teaching to various years and schools through Languages Centre as English Teacher. These were primary and secondary schools in different locations. It gave me a good understanding of the curriculum and teaching techniques. I worked in Manchester for one year in 2008 as a Polish teacher to adult students. I oganised private lessons at home teaching English and Polish.

Qualifications: BA in English Philology with teaching skills and Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
