gcse level: £15 per hourI believe in making learning as enjoyable as possible, and that better results can be achieved by tailoring teaching to individual learners. Particularly with Mathematics, where at higher levels it can be hard to see the applicability of sometimes abstract ideas, my industrial experience can help provide that insight to the tutee and add the extra motivation that comes from "seeing the point". I believe support and encouragement make learning less stressful and more successful

Experience: This would be my first formal tutoring position, but I do have experience in tutoring friends and colleagues on an informal basis assisting them at levels from secondary school up to degree level. I also do a lot of mentoring and coaching in my day to day work environment.
