Hi, I am a native speaker of Spanish and was born in Cuba. I have also been speaking English for over 10 years, which I believe is an important qualification in order to teach English-speakers how to learn Spanish. I also have a degree in Communication Sciences, which helps when it comes to teaching students to learn unfamiliar sounds of a foreign language (such as that ever-famous Spanish 'r'. Also, being a native speaker, my lessons will not only be about 'formal' Spanish but will also include that necessary part of any language, commonly known as 'slang'.

I have worked at several school in the United States teaching advance reading to students and have also worked as a teaching assistant for a University-level Spanish class at the University of Florida.

I have a passion for teaching and believe that I have the patience and commitment that are necessary in order to be able to help others to learn.
