Marion

I am a postgraduate guitar, piano and violin/fiddle teacher teaching popular styles-blues, rock, folk, jazz, and also classical, and music theory-popular, jazz and classical. Pupils of all ages are welcome. I have played in many varied ensembles and bands.

I am flexible and can help you with pieces of your choice, working at your own pace. I can help with theory or exams.

I ensure that my pupils are well prepared for all aspects of their exams if they choose to take them, and I also endeavour to help my pupils with good posture and technique which is a pre-requisite for success.

I maintain a strong dialogue with parents regarding their children`s h/w, aims and achievements.

Experience: I have taught a wide range of pupils from aged 3 upwards and have worked with `special needs` students. I teach left handed players. I am qualified in childcare and have some special needs training. I completed 3 modules and a dissertation in music education at Kingston University. I teach face to face and online.
