Experience: I have tutored computing for a number of years to both class rooms and private individuals (as a private tutor). I have spent quite a few years in the computer industry including repair and maintenance, network administration, design and building of networks.
My spare time activities include animation, (stop motion claymation, video editing, 3D modelling, 2d drawing and other creative pursuits).
I have been an ESOL / English tutor for a number of years and grown to understand the need to learn and how people learn. ESOL classes are very creative and adaptive and can be very rewarding for both the student and the tutor.
My current ESOL class is less teaching and more conversational where I offer suggestions(during the discussions), encourage talking covering every day things such as how to ask properly, how to say the right thing and why it needs to be said that way, so in this class my place is more guidance than teacher, I also maintain the conversation and steer it in the right direction.
I have taught computing quite extensively including training in industry as well as class rooms and private individuals. I enjoy teaching very much, I enjoy the challenges it brings and the rewards it brings, along with the knowledge that I have helped someone learn something and in some way improved their lives.

David is excellent. I had a session on with him on video editing. He was professional yet friendly, brought really good teaching resources, I got loads of practice, he explained things well. I benefited a lot from his tutelage.
