I am friendly and approachable and have been an English teacher for twenty years. I can tutor pupils in Basic English Skills as well as those students preparing for their G.C.S.E, A/S and A Level exams. I have experience of teaching and marking a variety of exam boards including WJEC, OCR, AQA and EDEXCEL I GCSE. I have attended a number of exam board conferences and this has allowed me to see exactly what examiners are looking for when they are marking exam papers. I am also able to tutor Primary School pupils and those at Key Stage Three. I am passionate about reading and enhancing pupils` writing skills. I have completed my Masters Degree in English Literature and this has helped to enhance my teaching skills, particularly in the area of literature. I have a very good track record of helping pupils to achieve excellent results and many of my GCSE and A Level pupils have achieved A stars. I have an excellent bank of resources to share with pupils of all abilities and these will help them to achieve the highest grades.
