I have been teaching for 11 years and have been a Head of English at two secondary schools in South Yorkshire for the last 8 years. I now provide personal tutoring to pupils of all ages primarily in English but I have also been teaching French, Spanish, History and Geography also. I also teach phonics and reading and writing skills to primary pupils and can cater for home schooled pupils who may be withdrawn from school due to illness or exclusion etc.

I have a proven track record of teaching English and securing exam success in Key Stage 2 SATs, 11 plus exams, Key Stage 3 assessments, GCSE and at A Level.

I currently tutor pupils across the age and ability range from primary, secondary, college students to adult learners.

Availability: I have limited availability now after taking on new clients but please don`t hesitate to contact me and see if we can arrange mutually convenient times for lessons.

Experience: I have 11 years teaching experience for English in secondary schools and I have worked with many exam boards so I know the `tricks` to understanding the assessments and making progress.

I have also taught primary pupils for the last year since I started personal tutoring.
