I am offering tuition in English Language and Literature at all levels and will assist with proofreading and editing of degree level dissertations and assignments. I have a Master of Arts in English and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. I have more than 20 years experience in post-Secondary English teaching. I was a Lecturer of English in a Further Education College. I taught GCSE English in this College and I have taught English for the GCE A level and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in my previous schools.

Apart from teaching in schools, I have been a private tutor for more than 30 years and am dedicated to helping students perform well at national examinations.

I am also an examiner for GCSE English for several examination boards, including AQA and OCR.

I am a member of the Dyslexia Guild and I am a specialist teacher of dyslexic learners and a licensed assessor for dyslexia.

Availability: I am available to teach through video chat, so I am not restricted to actual location. Right now, I am teaching through video chat international students in other countries. But I am also willing to tutor in Billingham, Norton, Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool.

Experience: I was a lecturer in a Further Education College in the UK, teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English to students ranging from teenagers to adults. I also taught in pre-university and sixth-form colleges leading to A level and International Baccalaureate Diploma qualifications. I have been a private tutor for more than 30 years, teaching English language and literature to numerous students ranging from Secondary school to Pre-university levels. I am also a specialist teacher of students with dyslexia and have a licence to assess and diagnose dyslexia.
