A patient, good-humoured and experienced tutor, I have enjoyed teaching both adults and children in languages at a higher level and also general subjects at primary level. This varied experience has allowed me to develop techniques to make the learning process fun as well as effective.

My teaching is bolstered by my strong academic track record. I hold an MSc in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh on scholarship, and I obtained a 1st Class degree in French and Classical studies from the University of Kent, which involved a year of study in Lausanne in Switzerland, and upon graduation achieved the awards for Highest Joint Honours mark and Achievement in French.

I am passionate about teaching and I take great pleasure in the process of building rapport with each individual student, employing my intuition and good humour to tailor my approach and allow them to reach their full potential.

I am able to teach English at all levels and up to intermediate Spanish.
