I am an experienced secondary school Maths and RE teacher, currently working at a school in Reading as Head of RE, and teaching Maths as part of my timetable. I have been teaching and tutoring Maths & RE for over 10 years. I completed my PGCE and QTS training through the University of Oxford, and subsequently passed my NQT year. Previous to completing my official teacher training, I taught maths to SEN students at a secondary school and also privately tutored maths for 2 years previously. I have experience in teaching a vast range of students both as a private tutor and classroom teacher - mainstream, SEN, secondary, A level and undergraduate, and would be happy to help someone achieve their best in maths as a private tutor.

Furthermore, I enjoy writing, and I have written a few articles for a national church magazine. I also write a regular blog and would be happy to share it with any interested student.

I would be happy to tutor Maths to GSCE or A Level standard, charging at least £30 an hour.

Availability: I am available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings after 6pm and Sundays.

Experience: I have over 10 years experience at teaching and tutoring maths to both mainstream and SEN students in secondary schools. Previous to that, I worked as a full time Supply Teacher in primary and secondary schools. I have 5 years experience in tutoring Maths and English to a GCSE and A Level standard, an a one-to-one basis. As well as teaching Ancient Greek, to a full class, to a university standard. I also have experience in helping people learn and develop their English skills on a voluntary basis.
