I offer a professional tutoring service to students up to degree level. I have specific interest in the areas of History, English and Politics but am able to offer tutoring in a number of subjects, as well as offering support for assignment writing and a proof reading service.

My service is very much bespoke, and what I offer is very much dependent on the individual student and their specific requirements. I maintain the policy of arranging a free, no obligation consultation that allows for the opportunity to work with any proposals that you may have.

I consider my role as that of a `facilitator of learning` with a remit to enrich the knowledge of my tutees - with a mind on their individual needs rather than providing a rehash of generic classroom teaching methods. I have considerable experience of working with students with additional needs as part of my daily role.

I believe tuition should be affordable for all and my pricing structure is reflective of this, whilst still allowing me to provide an excellent and dynamic service. I believe in the power of ICT and am currently developing an online resource that potential candidates can access outside of tuition sessions.

I am fully DBS cleared and am happy to supply any documentation that you require. I will always endeavour to answer your requests as soon as possible and help wherever I can. I have a strong network in the education sector which means that in instances where I may not be able to help, there is a chance I know of someone who will.

I offer a face to face service within 15 miles, but can offer online sessions on a national basis. Please contact me for more details.

Experience: I have teaching experience across different primary age groups throughout my PGCE, whilst also having experience lecturing college students in English and Maths, and working with academy school as a private tutor/exam consultant. I also have five years experience working as an examiner and moderator for across multiple exam boards. I possess qualifications in Politics and English to an excellent degree level, and have completed a Masters in Education and English.
