Friendly, highly-rated English tutor with many years experience teaching Literature and Language. Rated 5* by pupils and parents.
I tutor for 11+ entrance exams through to GCSE and A-Level. Exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, OCR. My pupils have had an extremely high success rate of As and A*s.
My tutoring process includes:
Textual analysis, exam technique, past papers, essay writing, historical context, critical analysis, poetry analysis, creative writing, vocabulary and grammar, comprehension and more.
I am very passionate about English, and love helping students improve their skills. As well as achieving success in exams, I aim to inspire a passion and interest in the subject itself.
My publications include a paper on Shakespeare`s `King Lear` and `Pericles published by the University of Maryland in Spring 2015.
