Information about Tom

I am an enthusiastic, motivated and driven individual with a diverse skill set and experiences to support. Having been a Software Engineer since 2008 and have gathered a substantial amount of knowledge about computing and its surrounding topics. Alongside my career I studied Systems Engineering and Computer Science, graduating with a BSc (Hons).

I aim to see my students achieve the results they want and build content around bespoke requirements. Having volunteered for both schools and professional organisations to deliver training I have a founded background in teaching both young people and adults.

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekends.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: For a number of years I have developed and delivered material to a local school around computing topics. In addition I run my own company - Accelita - which delivers IT support, training and Cyber awareness to many people.

Alongside my IT career I have taught a multitude of subjects including first aid and careers performance.

Tom`s sessions really helpful - degree level tuition. Online nature is particularly useful in current circumstances.

We approached Tom as our son needed a confidence boost in Computer Science and were immediately impressed at how professional Tom was in his approach to assessing our sons requirements and putting together a plan of action. Tom has great knowledge in his field but also is an excellent tutor and has conveyed the subject in a way that has inspired confidence in our son. We would recommend Tom 100%.
