I am a qualified science teacher with 13 years experience. I currently teach in person as well as on line using Zoom. I use interactive software which allows students to engage actively with learning and resources.
This has proved very successful and students have made excellent progress.
I teach in a way that develops my students` enthusiasm for learning while ensuring that they gain all the knowledge and skills required to shine in science.
I encourage my students to be curious, to ask questions and most importantly to challenge themselves. They then become confident in expressing their ideas using clear scientific language
I teach all UK examination boards at secondary level.
Specifically:
A level chemistry, IB Chemistry, GCSE Chemistry, GCSE Biology, GCSE Physics, Double Award GCSE science, BTEC and KS3 science for younger students.

I am very patient and have the flexibility to adapt my teaching style to match a student`s needs. I am also skilled at explaining scientific concepts so that the student truly understands the topic. I have many interactive resources to suit the varied learning styles of my students.

I followed a successful international career in research and development after completing my PhD. This experience is extremely useful in helping students to develop the independent learning and scientific investigation skills for their coursework tasks.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Daytime: 10.00am to 2pm and
Evenings: 4.00pm to 8pm.
Saturday: 9.30 - 6.00
Sunday: 11am - 6pm

HOLIDAYS: ON LINE & IN PERSON
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10.00am to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday: 11.30am - 6pm

Experience: I have successfully taught science to students of all abilities from gifted to SEN, in good and outstanding secondary schools in London.
I teach Chemistry, Biology and Physics to GCSE level and Chemistry to A level.
I maintain and extend my teaching skills and keep abreast of changes to the science curriculum by regularly attending training courses offered by exam boards, the Association of Science Education and other providers.
I am a member of The Tutors’ Association
