Siobhan

Recently graduated from MSc Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic at the University of Edinburgh, I also have a BA History at the University of York, where I received First Class Honours. During my MSc I taught across all of the subjects I offer, with a special focus on Mathematics and English at both primary and GCSE levels, and History at GCSE level.I am now looking to return to tutoring part time in Glasgow to complement my work as a Project Manager and fulfill my passion for teaching.

At A level, I studied Mathematics, English Literature Economics and History ,as well as critical thinking to AS Level at Westminster School. I am offering tuition in Mathematics up to GCSE level and all of the other subjects I have studied up to A Level.

Having applied to a variety of institutions before moving from Trinity Catholic High School (a Greater London state school) to Westminster School I can also offer advice on the entrance exams for top London day schools, or give advice on the transition between state and private schools.

Having done undergraduate level Spanish, I am also available to teach Spanish up to A Level. With a 120 hour TEFL qualifications and 2 years volunteer experience, I am also available to teach english as a foreign language.

I am comfortable working with students of any age. I have further experience working with very young children through experience as a classroom assistant at Soho Parish Primary School and as a group leader at the children`s day summer camp `Camp Beaumont`.

Availability: I am currently available Monday - Thursday evenings from 6pm.

Experience: I have experience tutoring young people from ages 6 to 17 as well as adults, both online and in person in Edinburgh.

Through my tutoring work I have experience teaching young people special educational needs including dyslexia.

I have further experience designing curriculum and teaching larger groups through for English as a Foreign Language through my experience teaching English at refugee services charities in York and in Edinburgh.
