I am an English Specialist. You should choose my services if your child is sitting for both Grammar and Independent Schools. Particularly pupils who are keen to gain entry into Henrietta Barnet as they have two rounds of tests. You will get just one month to specifically prepare for second round which has comprehension and creative writing very much like the format of Independent Schools. I work at the basic skills and strengthen the child`s foundation ensuring that he/she is supremely confident of themselves.

My tutoring is simple but effective - based on the belief that
“Each child is unique - with their own strengths and weaknesses.”
Every child responds to different learning methodology. I try to ensure that the lessons are tailored to the pupil`s specific requirements.

I offer a range of flexible tuition options. But would strongly advise parents to start in Year4 to maximise chances of success and strong foundations. Quick fixes do not work and it is a hugely competitive examination. As I have mentioned every child is different and depending on that we can agree onto a flexible schedule that is of optimal benefit to the pupil.

Being a parent, I can empathise with your anxieties and guide to also effectively contribute to your child’s education as it is team work.
Sitting for 11plus is a huge psychological, intellectual and emotional endeavour for the child and the parents.I will be there to support you throughout the journey.



My fee
£65 for 1:1 hour session
£50 for 2:1 hour session
( prices inclusive of all resources and homework/ planning time and full support during exam time)



I have very few places and in case I am unable to offer you a place - it would be my endeavour to provide you with one asap. Waiting list works on first come basis.

Your first lesson will be discounted if you come through tutorhunt to compensate for what you pay to release my details.

Availability: Monday to friday- 4:30pm -8:30pm
Weekends - 10:30 am -12:30 am
