Lessons should be enjoyable, using many different teaching materials and focus on speaking; I adjust to the individual student and his/her preferred learning style.

ONE to ONE: Each student`s level is assessed before taking up lessons, we have an informal chat first. We establish together what is expected from my lessons, so I can plan beforehand, making sure we cover all goals and objectives. My students are always trained in correct pronunciation/intonation and we also play language games to make learning easier. German is a wonderfully expressive language and I am very enthusiastic about teaching it. Adjusting to the current situation I offer SKYPE lessons and the feedback from my students is: "it works really well".

STUDENTS GCSE and `A` level: In the 2019 exams my GCSE and `A` level students improved their grades between 1-2 levels, most achieved an A or A*.

ADULT Beginners: If you are an adult beginner student, I have lots of patience and understanding, give much encouragement and have endless patience. I use a range of methods to make lessons more interesting.

ADULT Intermediates - Advanced: If you want to prepare for business meetings or an interview, I can help you focus on your specific objectives and you get lots of role-play practice. Topics for discussion are based on up-date current events. Grammar is taught based on your level of interest.

CLASSES: not at the moment but lessons can be shared on SKYPE

Experience: I have taught German at a local comprehensive school for 10 years, at GSCE and `A` level, as well as Information Technology at college. I am also an OCR assessor, plus I have many years of business administrative experience. I am currently working as a private teacher/tutor from home, teaching German to students, adult beginners to advanced, adult professionals, most of my lessons are now on Skype.
