With a Cambridge University 1st Class degree in Education Studies and a range of teaching experience, I have witnessed enormous improvements from students having even a little private tuition.
From building confidence, re-igniting passion for a subject, or simply covering material in preparation for an exam, I enjoy tailoring each one of my sessions to encourage the best work from my students in a relaxed but engaging way.
Availability: Waiting List only.
All sessions are now remote, via Zoom.

Experience: I have been tutoring English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning to students of a range of ages in London for the past 6 years, specialising in 11+.
Prior to this I worked for 2 years at Norland Place School in Holland Park.
I also have particular experience in assisting with University applications - personal statements, mock interviews etc.
As a trained actor, with 10 years of professional experience, I can also assist with Speech and Drama / Acting examinations - as well as using these techniques to improve confidence.

Anna is a fabulous tutor - she is energetic, engaging, encouraging and enthusiastic. I found it very helpful that she was willing to understand what my son needed, based not only on her own assessment but my feedback, so that we could jointly work towards a common goal - which in the short term was to prepare and pass 11+ entrance exams, and for the medium to long term, was to improve English creative writing and comprehension skills. I would have no hesitation in recommending Anna and am likely to continue to use her offerings for on-going improvements and support.

Anna is absolutely fantastic. She is working with my 6-year-old daughter bringing her up to UK school standards (we recently moved from the US). She is prompt, helpful and an absolute pleasure to have helping our daughter. Our daughter loves her and looks forward to her arrival every Wednesday. I would recommend her to anyone although I am hoping to hire her again and again and again so good luck finding room in her schedule!
