Everyone is different in the way we learn. Unfortunately, very few schools have a curriculum that can address every students needs. Patience and time is needed to help young individuals adapt and learn adequately rather than being spoon fed information. As part of my tuition I aim to inspire and promote self education and assist young people in their confidence to answer questions correctly. There is no such thing as a stupid question, questions only help to better your understanding of your subject area. I am happy to provide advice regarding job and University applications as well as approaching exam questions.

Catherine was amazing, her lessons were well planned and fun. She used several different learning styles which kept chemistry and biology A-level interesting for me. I saw really good progress in my grades and thanks to her, I am a lot more confident in my ability and knowledge of these subjects. I was very happy with my A-level grades and would highly recommend Catherine :)

Catherine has been working with our daughter for around 8-10 weeks (combined science and maths). She is working toward her GCSE`s this year and is growing in confidence as a result of Catherine`s tutoring. Catherine sets homework after each sessions to test understanding and provides feedback scores thereafter so results can be seen. We plan to continue up to her final exams, so still work in progress. Final results are yet to be seen, but all good so far.
