Information about Laura
I am a fully qualified and experienced Primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience.I am currently working as a year 6 teacher within a local primary school and so am fully aware of the expectations of children within this current academic climate.
Children learn best if their learning is made fun and they are interested and engaged within the subject. All my lessons try to make new concepts easy to understand, purposeful and are taught in a relaxed atmosphere.
Availability: Evening and Weekends
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been teaching for over 10 years and am currently a practising year 6 teacher at a local primary school.
I am also math co-ordinator and senior phase leader which allows me to have a full understanding of the expectations across the whole primary school age.
I have tutored children within school on both a 1:1 and small group basis in English, Maths and Grammar.

I was quite happy with Laura to start off with until I found out that she will not be tutoring my daughter in the hoildays, I asked her if she would after the holidays and she said if i would like her too she would, so when I text her after the holidays to agree on when we can restart she text me back saying she has got a new job so she will not continue. This makes me very angry and upset as i had clearly stated that I am looking at getting my child tution until the end of year 6, so i feel let down as now i have to.look for another tutor and also pay tutor hint again to release details also if she was not coming back she should have made that clear before she left so that would give me a chance to find someone else to be honest i don`t know weather i should trust this site or no as i don`t know how reliable the tutors really are.
