Information about Leanne
I am a fully qualified secondary science teacher with significant experience in teaching Science, Maths, English and EAL to students from year four through to adult learners.
I am a calm, compassionate, organised individual, and am extremely passionate about the subjects I teach. My specialisms are Physics, Chemistry and Biology, from primary up to GCSE level but I am also able to tutor up to KS3 in Maths and English.
Confident and methodical, I love to help others succeed, and enjoy using my passion for my subjects to aid children with their studies. I think it is important to find ways to engage children with the subject matter, and firmly believe that they learn and retain more information when the content is presented in a fun and exciting way.

Experience: I am a fully qualified secondary science teacher with two years of classroom teaching and another two years of online teaching under my belt. I also have considerable experience working with primary-aged students both through tutoring and in a school setting.
I have also additionally worked as a Learning Support Assistant, supporting EAL (English as an Additional Language) students in their studies, and have worked with adult learners on their English.
I have also worked as an examiner for AQA marking GCSE Physics papers for three years.

We have had couple lessons with Leanne and everything is going well. Leanne not only demonstrates understanding of the subject but also knows how to convey the knowledge. Connecting well with our son, now giving us the motivation to make tutoring with her a longer term.

Leanne assisted Edward with Physics initially and then helped with his Chemistry
He achieved a 9 and 8 in GCSE sciences, so is absolutely delighted.
Leanne helped immensely, would strongly recommend her.
As well as being very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her subjects,she`s very personable and my son got on well with her.
