Bobby

Hi my name is Bobby I am 30 years old and I graduated in BSc Computing in 2014. I have lived in Portsmouth all my life and wouldn`t mind travelling to where you are. As I drive and wouldn`t mind meeting at your home or even a library.

Graduate in BSc (Hons.) Computing, the degree has resulted in conquering a variety of knowledge and skills in technology which has given me the opportunity to have a career in IT. My work experience has enabled me to gain excellent customer service skill for both internal and external customers, also by having the ability to speak multi lingual in Punjabi and Hindi has allowed me to help wide range of people.

I am currently working as a IT Developer, however the aim is to make this a permanent role. This depends on the number of student/pupils. As this would allow me to have a flexible time scale.

Availability: Mon-Fri evenings - This could become more flexible depending on the number of students/pupils.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: This degree has focused on areas such as application developments, HTML and databases along with competent use of Microsoft software. Also by being a regular user of the windows operating system my knowledge has widened by the use of Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. These areas have expanded my knowledge and help me understand how these tools function. The final year project has enabled me to demonstrate excellent organisation skills by the use of a Gantt chart, which allowed me to balance other units throughout the process.

; The further skills gathered throughout the degree enabled me to input the skills within my final year project such as, the design skills gathered help me develop an Android application using HTML.

; Experience of Microsoft office was gathered throughout my studies such as, creating documents, graphs and presentations.

; I have worked independently setting my own deadlines and managing workloads which allowed me to improve my problem solving skills. Also personally setting up desktops, laptops and installing programs.

; Team collaboration and leadership from participation in a series of course projects with fellow students to manage in e-commerce and software engineering units.

I have also volunteered within teaching for several months, as this involved helping a wide age group of people using and setting up computers. During this process have taken a safeguarding exam which was passed and this allowed me to volunteer.

I have worked in retail for over eight years and this has improved my people skills along with problem solving.
