Information about Florence
I am a native French speaker. I very much enjoy meeting people and my tailor-made lessons are fun and relaxed. I also work as a proofreader for several educational publishers (KS1 to A-Level / IB+ Adult Education) and understand the challenges of my mother tongue.
I am enthusiastic and I will help you:
- converse, read, write, pronounce and listen
- improve your French grammar
- increase your confidence and,
- if you are taking an exam, boost your grade.
Availability: Weekdays: I am available mornings and usually from 3.30pm onwards.
I am happy to use Skype for French conversation.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have experience in teaching all age groups from 6-85 and all levels, from beginners to advanced. My lessons are face-to-face from my home in Torquay or using Skype.
I have taught at Torquay Girls Grammar School (GCSE to A-Level) and at Brixham College as an adult education tutor.

We have had two sessions so far with Florence and have found her to be thoroughly welcoming and professional. The sessions are relaxed but we are learning a lot, and she has also given us materials to look at between sessions. We would thoroughly recommend Florence!
