I am a successful Tiffin/11+ tutor. It started 7 years ago when I sacked my daughter`s tutor and took over her 11+ preparation. I enjoyed it so much, especially when she was accepted by both Tiffin and Lady Eleanor Holles - the only schools we applied to - that I gave up a good career in journalism to follow my passion to teach yoga to children and to tutor anyone who needed my help. I always go the extra mile for my clients. I am strict and expect my homework to be done but I am also kind and patient and dish out Smarties and stickers. I am super-organised, have superb resources and help children get the most out of their lessons with me. I am lucky to enjoy an excellent rapport with children. I think it`s because they can sense that I care about them and am on their side.

I was a journalist for 20 years so my English is excellent. I love teaching English grammar and creative writing and my organised approach yields quick results.

I love teaching Maths to primary and early secondary children. The foundations are so important, especially the times tables, and again my online resources and organised approach yield results very quickly.

Availability: I am available over the summer holidays to tutor/fine-tune/test 11+ candidates as well as any other Primary and early Secondary children who need help with Maths and English.

I also have a few slots starting in September.
