Primary students: Exam preparation for SATS, 11 Plus and common entrance exams for independent schools (English/VR/NVR/some Maths).
General literacy and numeracy teaching to improve confidence.
GCSE, A-Level, degree: : English Language and Literature study, essay writing skills, exam technique.
Adult learners -
QTS Skills tests for trainee teachers.
ESOL/EFL- informal speaking/listening/reading and writing practise.
Life in the UK test revision and prep.

I believe in building confidence by providing a relaxed and fun environment where the student is able to enjoy learning and employ different teaching methods such as books, games, tests and ICT to retain focus.
Availability: I am available weekdays from 4.30pm and weekends. Please get in touch to check a time slot. I tend to tutor from home/hometown. If you are interested in tuition but unable to travel to me, do get in touch and I`ll see what I can do.

Experience: I currently tutor groups and individuals in Primary English and Maths, SATs, 11+ and common entrance exams.
I also offer Maths at KS3.
English at all levels: KS3, GCSE, AS/A2, degree and adult learners including those whose first language is not English.

I have to say Monica is brilliant. Most importantly she connects very well with my son. Her teaching methods are fun and productive. My son is progressing very well. Monica is also a very nice person. I highly recommend her.
