Information about Adam
My name is Adam, I`m a doctoral student of computer science at King`s College London with my research specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical problem solving. I also hold an undergraduate Bachelors degree from Kings College in Computer Science as well.
I have been tutoring GCSE Maths and Computer Science for 3 years and I specialise in students with special educational needs and improving student psychology (in particular confidence and self esteem in approaching exams).
I am proud of the many positive reviews on here and am happy to provide further references upon request. If you are looking for a tutor, or just such advice on the best way to develop in Maths and/or Computer Science, then drop me a message and see how I can help
Availability: I am available both weekdays and weekends at 24 hours notice and subject to bookings already made
Willing to travel: 50 miles
Experience: I have tutored both Programming, Physics and Mathematics over the past 3 years and on an informal basis prior to that. I have experience conveying complex concepts to students in terms they not only understand but can also remember.
I also have extensive knowledge of exam technique, particularly surrounding GCSE maths and physics I attempt to incorporate into all sessions in order not only to increase a students understand of the core concepts and techniques of the subject, but also their ability to communicate their understanding in an exam.
I am a strong believer in the need to feel confident being wrong, to often students have come to worry about getting an answer wrong and so opt to not answer rather than give a wrong answer. I aim to help end this mentality, because it`s only through getting stuff wrong that we can learn what we don`t know

Adam has been helping our son, who has high functioning autism and is very anxious, to prepare for his Computer Science GCSE this Summer. Adam very quickly identified our sons strengths and weaknesses and has been excellent at focusing him in the right academic areas, whilst also developing his exam technique. Most importantly, our sons confidence in his own abilities has really blossomed since meeting Adam.

Adam Rescentlly thaught my daughter and she was so excited about his teachings.
So far she would like him to continue with teaching her.
He is not only a fantastic teacher, he was able to advise me regarding the tutoring and the no of lessons my daughter would require since she is still in Yr 9.
