Clare

I am a fully qualified teacher of English. I am experienced in teaching all key stages and specialise in GCSE and A level. I work with students looking to improve their grades and fulfill their individual potential whether that be moving from a grade 4 to 5 or to 8 and 9.

I have been teaching for several years in secondary schools in London, Essex and Suffolk. I have recently moved to Lincolnshire from Chelmsford where I was an assistant head of year and taught English and Film Studies at A level and GCSE.

I am the mother of 3 daughters who all passed their 11+ and attend/ed the Girls High School in Colchester. My eldest went on to study at Cambridge, the second at Birmingham and the third to Edinburgh.

I am an enthusiastic teacher and tutor and work hard to ensure this is reflected in the sessions I deliver.

I have experience of working towards accredited courses, GCSEs, A Levels and have delivered courses to students of all ages, including adult learners.

I am highly organised and professional and work with all my students to inspire them to reach their potential.

Availability: I will be available from 5pm in the evenings and some weekends.
