Heeyeon Chloe

I`m a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music where I studied for my Bachelor`s and Master`s degree, graduating with a distinction and a DipRAM.

As a professional musician, I have performed as a soloist in venues across the UK as well as abroad, in countries including Belgium, Austria, Germany, New Zealand and South Korea. As an active orchestral player, I have performed in many venues in the UK, and have recently worked with the BBC Philharmonic and the Southbank Sinfonia.

Aside from being a soloist/orchestral player, I am dedicated chamber musician; since 2012, I have been the cellist of the Halcyon String Quartet. The Quartet, now in its seventh year together, has performed for many prestigious events such as the BBC Proms and Radio 3, Royal Opera House, Wigmore Hall, and have toured Bermuda.

Availability: I am mostly available during weekday evenings and weekends. I teach in a very relaxed, friendly fashion whilst ensuring that technical and musical ideas are realised, and making sure that each lesson is suited to the individual.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: As well as 1:1 private instrumental teaching, I have taught through outreach schemes and workshops. I am also currently studying for an LRam, which is a teaching qualification in music.
