I enjoy teaching and helping students gain confidence and better results. I have a proven history of achieving success. I am passionate about the importance of a good education and offer a highly professional specialized tuition service. I have coached many students with autism and Aspergers syndrome.
I strive to tailor my tuition to the aims, aspirations and needs of the student. I use real world examples to make the subjects relevant and interesting. Learning though hard work, can and should be fun. I aim to help all my students, achieve the best results possible.
I work with students from SATs onwards. I can tutor online.
Availability: Daytime, evenings and Saturdays.

Experience: I have taught for many years both on an individual and an organizational training basis. I am an approved examination marker for a number of examination boards across a variety of subjects. I also specialise in entrance processes for Grammar and Private Schools.

Finding a tutor can be extremely challenging and when a good one is found, people tend not to tell! My daughter has now completed her exams so I feel able to post a review. Colin has been professional, dependable and has worked wonders. From a struggling student with low marks, low motivation and low goals, I have watched my daughter develop into a person with high grades, a desire to learn and focus on a top University place. Sometimes it is a question of chemistry. Joe spent a couple of hours with Colin but did not feel comfortable or encouraged Admittedly the subject area was his weakest not least in terms of the large amount of content needed and Joe would have required quite specific and structured support
