I am a Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation graduate from the University of Valencia (Spain) with professional experience of teaching foreign languages to a wide range of students.

I have been providing private tuition for the past six years to both Secondary School students and adult professionals wishing to improve their language skills.

I am a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan. My degree helped me understand the nuance of languages as well as the interplay between both Spanish and English, it also demands an absolute mastery of Spanish and Catalan languages (to a professional linguist standard) as well as a deep knowledge of English, this has helped me understand the main difficulties that English speakers face when learning a romance language as Spanish.

I have also found that my knowledge of Hispanic culture (literature, music, cinema, traditions, etc.) helps me to boost my students language skills as well as their confidence to use them in real life situations.

My main goal is to promote learning through motivation to get my students having better achievements by adapting teaching methods on a personal basis. Indeed, I am convinced that this can only be achieved by adapting manner of communication depending on the student and tailoring my method depending on his/her needs.

At present I am completing an online masters in Comparative Literature and Cultural Criticism at the University of Valencia.
