Information about Sophie Rae
I am an experienced teacher and tutor, great with teaching all ages. I have an excellent degree in English, and love teaching others and transferring my passion for the subject. My approach is always positive and enthusiastic, encouraging my students to realise their full potential.
I work with positivity, always putting the comfort and enjoyment of my students first. It it my belief that we learn best when we are most enjoying ourselves. I conduct positive reinforcement and work around my students` passions and interests to really bring the subject alive for them.
Availability: Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm

Experience: 8 years of tutoring experience in English and English Literature. I specialise in GCSE and A Level Literature.
I have been teaching full-time for four years and am Head of English in a small independent school in Surrey.

My son is in year 10. Since starting with Sophie recently for English GCSE tutoring, his grades have gone up. Sophie brings the subject alive and is very engaging. He enjoys going and I am delighted he is learning so much.

Sophie has just started tutoring my daughter English Literature A level. She responded very quickly to my enquiry and immediately wanted to know what books my daughter was reading to be prepared for tutoring her. My daughter engages well with her. I am sure she will be an asset to her.
