Information about Daniel
I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about helping students develop their problem-solving and independent thinking skills. As a tutor I work hard to communicate effectively in tutorials and engage the student with the topic in question.
I hold a first class masters degree in physics from Oxford University where I am about to finish my doctorate in materials science (specifically theory and computational modelling). However, I am currently living and tutoring in north London.
I have experience tutoring maths and science at primary, KS3, GCSE and A-Level (maths and physics), and I have tutored students who are applying to university for a wide range of mathematical/scientific subjects, including giving them mock interviews. Additionally, I worked as a university tutor in physics for over 3 years at Oxford University.
Finally, I am comfortable teaching in an adult learning environment, having worked as an IT course demonstrator at Oxford University, and I have also worked as a professional IT assistant.
