I am a University of London English graduate living in Rickmansworth, Herts. I am a very experienced 11+ tutor, police checked and with excellent references. My 16 year old daughter who is in Year 12 at Dr Challoners High School, and is also available to assist or tutor under my guidance at a more affordable rate. She has a Level 9 (A**) in English Lit and is an English `A` Level student, so is particularly strong in this subject. I tutor English to KS3, Maths to KS2, and VR and Non VR for the NEW Bucks 11+ for Year 5. I also tutor for the selective tests in Hertfordshire and for independent school entry. I like to build children`s confidence as well as their performance, and always make sure they are relaxed and happy while they`re with me. I give honest and open feedback about children`s performance and abilities (obviously delivered with sensitivity if the children are listening!), which helps parents make the right choices for their children going forward. We love pets and have 3 cats, all of whom are very welcoming to the children when they arrive. All enquiries welcome.

Availability: My classes run on Saturdays, and I also provide holiday courses. These are: Easter Maths, early summer English/VR revision, and late summer mock tests.
