I have just finished a PhD at Durham University, specialising in Genetics. Before this, I studied Genetics at the University of Cambridge, followed by a Masters Degree at Durham.

I have previously tutored students during my Masters degree and during a gap year. I found it incredibly rewarding, and I am now looking to do this again. I am looking to tutor Biology at any level from GCSE to Degree, and also Chemistry and General Science at GCSE level.

Before starting university, I completed A Levels in Biology, Government and Politics and Critical Thinking (All A* Grade) and Chemistry (Grade A), as well as an AS level in History (Grade A).

Availability: I have just finished my PhD studies and am now fully available to take on new students. I am currently free all days and times except for Sunday mornings.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have tutored students in Biology at GCSE, A Level and Degree level, and in Chemistry at GCSE level, at a variety of ability levels. I also have experience teaching at University level during my degree, which included both helping students during laboratory classes and marking essays and questions.

Outside of this I have also done work with 6th form students with university applications, helping with personal statements and preparations for specialist admissions tests. I have also worked as a group leader at a summer camp, and privately tutored piano at beginner level.
